Encouragement


As we begin to go back to school and the daily routine of our lives, I decided to write on the topic of encouragement. It seems fitting because sometimes after the freedom of summer, getting back into our typical rhythms can be quite restricting.


This can result in feelings of dejection or stress as we transition back-to-school.


Personally for me, when it comes to going back to my studies it can be a little disheartening due to the fact that I have a heavy course load.


To help with this, there are several strategies I use to encourage myself, for example prayer, exercise, and goal-setting.


For instance, if I’m struggling with studying, I set up mini-goals for myself. By completing the mini tasks it enables me to be encouraged into finishing the overall task — studying.


In brief, I encourage you to encourage others and yourselves as it will benefit everybody as we collectively get back to work/school.
