Renew Psychology’s Oludotun Ogunfowora, MC. is a registered psychologist in Calgary. Her name, Dotun, translates to “renew” or “become new” in Yoruba language, which is a reflection of her commitment to helping clients renew their perspectives and co-create pragmatic solutions that can be easily sustained, regardless of their lifestyles. 

With varied treatment approaches to her clients’ concerns, Dotun Ogunfowora provides compassionate support for clients of all ages and in all walks of life. She has a comprehensive understanding of psychology and common mental health complaints. Dotun consistently upholds her responsibilities to her clients, providing them with insight and support as they navigate unique challenges and circumstances.

Sophie Wong, MC
Certified Canadian Counsellor

Sophie Wong, MC is a certified canadian counsellor. She is committed to assisting clients in their learning journey. Navigating through their experiences and obstacles in a space of acceptance and hope. 

Recognizing that everyone is on their unique walk of life, Sophie works with her clients through the most suitable therapeutic treatment for their needs. She has 15 years of extensive experiences championing Human Resources, Diversity Equity and Inclusion and Women in Leadership in both public and private organizations. As an advocate for growth and development, Sophie would like to support her clients in creating meaningful change.

Lucy Hirayama, is a Certified Canadian Counsellor. She has an extensive background in the public and private sector, working with individuals with diverse cultural backgrounds and complex mental health needs. 

Lucy believes that each client is an expert of their story and recognizes the unique strengths within each individual.  She is motivated and passionate to help clients utilize their strengths to create meaningful change and live to their greatest potential.  Lucy is dedicated to providing a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment that supports and empowers clients in their journey.

Madison Fai, BA
tudent Therapist

Madison is a registered student therapist completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.  She has an extensive background in education sector, working with adolescents and adults to discover their inner strength and navigate life's challenges. Madison believes that "story follows state." This means is that each individual's story and their emotional states are connected, hence, it is important to understand emotional states as life stories unfold in transformative ways.

Madison works with her clients in co-regulating, and creating a safe and supportive environment to facilitate self-discovery, personal growth and freedom. She walks alongside her clients as they collaboratively uncover strengths and resources to manage obstacles and create a meaningful life.

Megan Mandryk, BA
Student Therapist

Megan Mandryk is a registered student therapist completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She believes that every person’s story is important and deserves to be heard. She is motivated to help each individual find their own strengths and live a fulfilling life that they choose. Megan focuses on your lived experience and wholeheartedly believes that you are 
the expert of your story and your life.  

Megan works with a person-centered humanistic approach with unconditional compassion and empathy. She values a collaborative therapeutic relationship to help achieve therapeutic goals. She has a holistic approach, utilizing techniques from solution-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy, and narrative therapy.

Dotun holds a Master of Counselling Psychology from Seattle City University in Calgary. Her Master’s thesis focused on the Experiences of Gay Men Accessing PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) in North America. Dotun completed a poster presentation at the Canadian Psychological Association Annual Conference in 2017, showcasing her thesis.
