December Reflections

As winter strides along, the theme I’ve chosen for this month is reflection.
I personally take this time to reflect on the past year, see my mistakes and my achievements, prior to writing my New Years Resolutions.
In order to be successful one has to ensure that each action completed succeeds the other, while still maintaining a mindset that accepts the occasional inevitable errors and is able to utilize them to their advantage.
An example of this is when I first entered high school and attempted to do everything at once in attempts to set myself apart.
While this in itself isn’t bad, I lacked a balance which led to being overworked and restless.
After analyzing my 10th grade year, I made solid improvements to 11th grade that provided an equilibrium between academics and personal life.
As a result I was able to better myself in comparison to the previous year.
Overall, I encourage everyone to take December as a month of reflection, as reflecting is essential to bettering one's self.
